The 2020-2021 UC San Diego General Catalog of course offerings was compiled into a spreadsheet. Course offerings were filtered by an extensive list of sustainability-related terms and then counted.

If a course was cross-listed with another department, it was only counted under one department. If an undergraduate and graduate version of a course is offered, its undergraduate course number counted towards the undergraduate course count, while the graduate version counted towards the graduate count.
