UC San Diego Sustainability Alumni Network (SAN)

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The UC San Diego Sustainability Alumni Network [SAN] was founded by the UC San Diego Sustainability Program Office in May 2017 to bring together alumni who are working in the sustainability field or are interested in learning more about our efforts to make UC San Diego more sustainable. Any UC San Diego alumni who work in sustainability or help make sustainability happen on campus are invited to reconnect with the campus, our students, staff and other alumni to develop partnerships and opportunities, share knowledge, information, and ideas. Over 90 alumni have joined to date. Events include touring the sustainable operations of campus and regional partners like the San Diego Airport, networking events, and more.
