All C+D waste from new construction and major renovation projects is recycled per requirements in RFP's and contract agreements, with data submit by contractors to Capital Program Management. We are working in 2018 to ensure that smaller scale renovation projects managed by Facilities Management due the same.

UC San Diego Facilities Management will be requiring C+D diversion and recycling with contractors and vendors in FY17. FY18 data will include more accurate numbers on C+D landfill, diversion and recycling tonnages for projects managed by Facilities Management.
