A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The Diversity Education Program is a consciousness raising training program that teaches participants to recognize varying levels of cultural competence and the practical impact of each level. The Culturally Competent Management Program trains managers, supervisors, and aspiring leaders to recognize when workplace issues have a component of cultural competence and to have practical strategies to enable employees to be productive and successfully navigate the potential conflicts arising from cultural differences.
