A brief description of the assessment(s):
UC Systemwide Campus Climate Study - Through spring 2013, the University of California will conduct a systemwide study on "Campus Climate." Our goal is to gather a wide variety of data related to institutional climate, inclusion and work-life issues so that we can better assess the learning, living and working environments for students, faculty and staff at the 10 UC campuses as well as the Office of the President, five medical centers, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The study will include two major phases. The first will involve data gathering from a population survey that will seek input from the entire UC community.
Based on study findings, phase two will include development of strategic initiatives and action plans. The goal of this important study is to build on institutional successes, address institutional climate challenges and promote institutional change.
