A brief description of the practice:
Faculty utilizes UC San Diego’s own learning management system, WebCT, to place class materials online that would otherwise be printed such as syllabi and assignments. Students also upload assignments electronically to Ted UCSD and Turnitin.com saving reams of paper per year. UC San Diego course catalogs are available for download online at http://bookstore.ucsd.edu/launch/coursecatalog.htm
