Sustainability Across the Curriculum is workshop open to any UC San Diego faculty, is designed for faculty who want to incorporate ideas about the environment and sustainability into existing curricula across a wide range of disciplines (this was offered in 07-08 and 08-09). The Greenovation Forum series is an innovative set of monthly forums bringing together experts from various sectors to discuss 'Knowledge, Action and Sustainability'.
A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
A modest research stipend ($1000) was provided to faculty participants in the sustainability across the curriculum workshop. There is no incentive for attending the Greenovation Forum – except for the delicious, organic, local-food reception before the events.
