A brief description of when and why the energy consumption baseline was adopted:
The baseline data is from 2009, this is the first year of in which a strong methodology was developed for UC Riverside. A new energy data aggregator has been adopted for use by the University of California, EnergyCap. UC Riverside has verified its utility data back to 2009 for inclusion.
