A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
Established in 2015, the R’Pantry was created to help students fight food insecurity. Any UCR student experiencing food insecurity can visit the R’Pantry for emergency food and materials once per week. It also hosts program and workshops to educate students and provide resources. In partnership with Associated Students of UCR, the Division of Student Affairs, Feeding America, and the UC Global Food Initiative, R’Pantry aims to provide food to UCR students, connect students to food resources, and improve the overall health of students.
