In Spring 2015, Towers Watson sent surveys to 791 randomly selected non-represented career staff via email. Of those 408 responded. There were 33 questions asked in the categories of
- Working Relationships
-Organizational Change
-Engagement
-Image/Brand
-Supervision
-Communication
-Performance Management
-Career Development
This was the 2nd administration of the same survey tool. The 1st was in 2012. The next administration is planned for 2017.

The survey is jointly sponsored by UC Human Resources and the Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA).
At the Riverside campus, HR & CUCSA have identified the most significant drivers of satisfaction, and have an action plan to address each of the critical issues.
