A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Thirteen of the environmentally-friendly solar tables have been installed around the campus. The solar benches at UCR provide students, faculty, and visitors a clean renewable source of energy to recharge their devices. The Highlander Union Building, Student Technology Fund, and Green Campus Action Plan helped fund for the solar powered units.
