A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:

UC Merced existing campus has twenty-nine (29) buildings as well as offsite leased facilities that make up a total of 2.8 million gross square feet. The campus as part of the university's 2020 project development added 13 new buildings which made up 1.2 million gross square feet.
