A brief description of the institution’s workplace health and safety initiatives:

The Campus Safety Division is responsible for identifying and developing strategies to minimize the impact of risk, reducing costs, improving safety by executing new ideas and strategic plans in a rapid manner, and for supporting the academic and administrative functions of the university to help ensure a safe and healthful workplace. By strategically managing risk we can reduce the chances of loss, minimize workplace injury and illness, create greater financial stability, and protect our resources in support of UC's mission.
