A brief description of the institution’s green event certification program:

UCLA, along with the entire UC System, has made a far-reaching commitment to sustainability, including a goal of zero waste sent to landfills by 2020. With all the events held on UCLA’s campus, they are sure to make an impact on the environment. The Sustainability Events Subcommittee developed a green event certification program, and the UCLA Sustainability Office and a team of dedicated students have produced a Green Events reference guide to help you host an event that is eco-friendly, sustainable, and creates minimal waste. Once you have followed the guidelines, fill out this form and the Office of Sustainability will confirm that you can use the Green Event Seal in your event communications. If you have any questions, please contact ZeroWaste@ucla.edu.
