A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
The Community Programs Office id home to UCLA's Food Closet, established in 2009 to meet UCLA students nutrition and personal product needs. The Food CLoset sits under the Basic Needs Manager that coordinates food recovery on and off campus, oversees the stocking of the Food CLoset every 15 minutes through out the day, and provides special food boxes to help students who rely on the Food Closet to receive food resources to support them through holiday periods when the University is closed.
