A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

All new non-student UCLA employees receive a presentation or material in sustainability. Staff in the administrative departments receive a 20-30 min presentation, while academic, financial services and health system staff receive a one page guide. In all cases, information about the UC Sustainability Policy areas, the employee's role and where more information can be found is provided. Additional details on waste, water, energy and transportation is provided.
