A brief description of the institution's stormwater management initiatives:
Consistent with the State Water Resources Control Board's Construction Permit (Order No. 2009-0009-DWQ/NPDES No. CAS000002), all UCLA new development projects comply with the permit's requirements for stormwater quality during construction and reduction and/or elimination of stormwater runoff from the project site during its operational phase.
Consistent with the Construction Permit's post-construction standards, UCLA shall implement stormwater initiatives that will replicate the pre-project water balance and ensure that the post-project rate of flow is equal to or less than the pre-project conditions.
