For more information about UC Irvine, visit http://uci.edu/about/index.php. Clarification on why there are no professional schools with labs and clinics present on campus: 1) UCI does not have a pharmacy school. UCI has a Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, a stand-alone academic unit within the School of Medicine. 2) UCI does not have a public health school. UCI’s Program in Public Health earned accreditation from the Council on Education for Public Health, an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs. The 2012 accreditation is valid through 2017. 3) UC Irvine does not have a veterinary school.
