UCI is a member of both the Worker Rights Consortium (WRC) and Fair Labor Association (FLA). Both memberships are renewed annually. UCI is fully committed to protecting workers rights.
In 1998, all ten UC campuses were among the first universities to adopt a Workplace Code of Conduct. UCI works with the FLA and WRC on programs to assess the ability of its licensees to enforce the UC Code of Conduct and provide transparency of the factories used to make licensed merchandise.
