A brief description of the program:
UCI relies on local, small and disadvantaged business to provide valuable goods and services. Strategic sourcing efforts are designed to allow for these additional vendors to fill out the campus's diverse supplier catalog. UCI's Small Business Coordinator reaches out to these companies through local trade fairs and meetings. Additionally, UCI utilizes these businesses to meet its federal subcontract plans.
