Data was gathered by the UCOP Sustainable Procurement team in summer of 2022.

University of California has a system-wide agreement with the company Waxie for supplying cleaning and janitorial products. The vendor is proactive in promoting the purchase of green products and in providing a clear and thorough reporting of spend. This has resulted in UC Davis achieving a higher percentage of spend on green cleaning products, and excelling in category-specific green spend criteria on cleaning supplies per the UC Sustainable Procurement Guidelines (https://www.ucop.edu/procurement-services/for-ucstaff/sustainable-procurement/sustainableprocurementguidelines.pdf).
