We are committed to achieving our goal of zero waste by 2020.”
UC Davis New Employee Welcome, which is a quarterly acculturation event for new academic and staff employees, includes a resource fair where more than 50 campus organizations, including the Office of Sustainability, Energy Conservation Office, Aggie Surplus, Worklife, and Transportation Services. The resource fair participants provide information to attendees regarding campus programs such as the following:

The two-hour program also includes a 15-minute presentation by Campus Planning and Environmental Stewardship, highlighting alternative energy efforts, alternative transportation programs and other sustainability efforts, along with a presentation on the Principles of Community. UC Davis Principles of Community underlie campus efforts towards diversity, equity and inclusion.
