We reviewed all purchases from the 2018-2019 fiscal year and categorized them based on the criteria listed in AASHE STARS 2.2. The analysis was completed by Samantha Lubow, Sustainability Coordinator at Residential Student Service Programs.

In addition to focusing on plant-forward cooking, Cal Dining prioritizes ingredients from producers that practice environmental and social responsibility. Cal Dining is also committed to actively engaging in practices that reduce both solid waste and food waste in our operations.
