Since 2012, the University of Calgary has operated a campus-wide Construction Waste Management Program. The integrated waste management program involves partnership with waste haulers and receiving facilities as well as collaboration with project managers and construction teams. Central to the operation of the program is the collection and analysis of construction waste and recycling data that has been used for ongoing tracking, reporting and performance management.
