A brief description of the sustainable food and beverage purchasing program, including how the sustainability impacts of products in specific categories are addressed (e.g. meat, poultry, fish/seafood, eggs, dairy, produce, tea/coffee):

We continue to partner with our food services vendor in purchasing and promoting local, seasonal produce and products, as available in the regional food system. Seafood is currently purchased according to the Marine Stewardship Certificate’s sustainable standards. In collaboration with our food provider we received a Fairtrade Campus designation in 2016.
