A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs and initiatives:
We interviewed 200 students and 23 staff/faculty. 473 staff, students and faculty participated in the survey. The results showed that the university is doing a good job overall but could do better in areas like accessibility, respectful dialogues, and in representation of under-represented groups. These results inform the priorities and strategies for a 5 year strategic plan that will go to leadership in early 2016. It provides recommendations for policy, programs and strategic initiatives to continue to foster an inclusive and welcoming campus.
The 2015 Employee Engagement Survey provided insights into how staff and faculty feel about the university, the work they do, and opportunities for improvement. The results of past surveys have helped the university engage and support employees, and helped us understand how to reach the goals set out in our Eyes High strategy. Employee feedback has resulted in improved opportunities for professional development in many areas, our university-wide Respect in the Workplace program and several new teaching and research initiatives. There were significant increases in employee satisfaction and engagement from the 2011 and 2013 surveys and leadership is committed to continuous improvement in areas flagged by the survey.
Are the results of the most recent structured diversity and equity assessment shared with the campus community?:

A brief description of how the assessment results are shared with the campus community:
