A brief description of the postconsumer food waste composting program:
Our Zero Waste program includes pre-consumer and post-consumer organics collection. The 40+ food vendor locations throughout campus have been set up with the appropriate bins and collection units. Organic material is brought to pick-up points on campus typically located at building loading docks alongside other waste streams. Our waste hauler collect the organics and brings them to a local processor.
