A brief description of the program:
Since September 1, 2002, the University of Calgary has provided the "UPass" to all Undergraduate and Graduate students during the primary academic year (Fall and Winter semesters). UPass holders have full access to available transit services during the applicable terms, which includes unlimited bus and CTrain travel. The UPass is a compulsory fee for all full-time students in order to keep the overall cost of the program to all students low. Beginning May 1, 2012 the UPass will also be offered during the Spring and Summer semesters (May to August).
