A brief description of the program:
The University of Calgary offers the Connect by Hertz program to the campus community as an alternative to privately owned vehicles. As of September 2010 campus members 18 years of age or older with a Class 5 license are able to rent an environmentally friendly vehicle located on campus starting at $9.50 per hour to $68 per day. This includes gas, insurance (including coverage for the Connect car), GPS Navigation, iPod Adaptor (Auxiliary Card), Bluetooth technology, 24-hour Roadside Assistance and support from a 24-hr in-house Member Care Centre.
