Does the institution use Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology in at least one lighting application? LED applications in exit signs and remote controls do not count for this credit.:
A brief description of the technology used:
LED site lighting is the standard for all new capital projects and has been implemented in a number of areas including the Taylor Family Digital Library Quadrangel, and site areas adjacent the Energy, Environment, and Experiential Learning (EEEL); and Yamnuska Hall residence; and the Internations House residence. Older high pressure sodium site lighting across campus are being replaced with LED lighting over time.
