A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
The University of Calgary has installed 40 water bottle filling stations on drinking fountains across campus in an effort to provide an alternative to bottled water for the campus population. This initiative provides the ability for individuals to use re-fillable water bottles and contributes to waste reduction from bottled water.
Additionally, all new fountain installations require a water bottle filling device.
