A brief description of the student group:
The University of Calgary's Eco Club is an active student group focused on sustainability. The Eco Club aims to advance sustainability at the University of Calgary and reduce its impact on the environment. The group works to educate students, faculty and Calgarians about the effect that people have on the environment, what they can do to reduce these impacts, and what society as a whole is doing to achieve a sustainable lifestyle.
Additionally, there are several sustainability related clubs and faculty student associations on campus.
