A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Campus Sustainability has a booth with sustainability materials and resources offered at quarterly New Faculty and Staff Orientations. A new Employee Sustainability Guide was developed in 2010 to educate new staff about basic waste reduction, energy conservation, green event planning and sustainable purchasing practices and will be launched in 2011. Finally, UBC's Sustainability website is listed as a resource under "Daily Life" on the UBC Human Resources online Quickstart Orientation.
