A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :
The UALR Sustainability Committee provides opportunities for all staff to engage in professional development in sustainability. Each semester, the Committee hosts a 5-hour discussion group using the Sustainable Systems at Work curriculum. In addition, a weekly book club is offered. The book club selects a different sustainability-themed book each semester.
