UALR currently offers, through a recent state mandate, a reclassification of all classified state employees. The mandate, from the state‘s Office of Personnel Management, was enacted because many older titles and salaries were outdated. There was a need to make sure state government titles were comparable to current offerings of employment in the non-state government sector.
