As part of UALR‘s 10 master plan, Coleman Creek (which runs through the center of campus) is being developed/restored to a natural habitat corridor. As part of the first phase, 3.9 acres of buildings and parking have been removed and the area turned into a natural park. Native landscaping is being used on this project.
