In 2019 the University of Arkansas launched the IDEALS institute, which the main goal is to create a more inclusive organizational environment. The UofA Diversity team has input in these efforts. In addition, the university has conduct climate surveys via COACH for faculty and via a HR survey for staff. Student climate-related questions are also observed for via NSSE. However, the most comprehensive effort is occurring now as part of the campus participation in ASPIRE.

The Assessment contained a total of 109 questions that touch on the topics of; work experience, work unit, the university, supervisor, leadership, satisfaction, and benefits satisfaction.
Of the 1102 employees that answered if the UofA Policies promote diversity within the workplace, only 10.2% disagreed.
