A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:
The University of Arkansas is a designated MS4, and the institution's practices conform to all rules and regulations stipulated by EPA and the Arkansas Department of Environmental quality. An approved Stormwater Management Plan in place. The University is a member of a coalition of Northwest Arkansas MS4s, which carry out public education and awareness to improve stormwater management practices throughout the region. The University has an approved Stormwater Management Plan and requires contractors to work under an approved Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan on all construction projects on campus. Each development project has a specific SWPP provided by the contractors.

A brief description of the institution’s rainwater management policy, plan, and/or guidelines that supports the responses above:
The university has multiple different gardens that collect rainwater, specifically the Nanoscale Material Science & Engineering Building and the Don Tyson Center for Agricultural Sciences. There are also rainwater cisterns that are located at Gearhart Hall and Jean Tyson Children Development Center.
