The University of Arkansas Commuter Menu is a tool that the Office For Sustainability has created to help incentivize alternative transportation to and from campus for students and faculty. Individuals personally fill out an eight-question survey. Their answers are closely reviewed and the individual's answers return the most practical sustainable transportation method(s) for commuting. Alternative options for the commute consist of walking, biking, taking the bus, campus shuttle, or carpooling.
This tool is on track to be implemented into new hire orientation within the UofA for the fall of 2020.
