A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution, including how each program addresses the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainability:
Four programs, one undergraduate and three graduate degree programs are relevant when addressing the sustainability-focused immersion program.: BS in Environmental Science, MS in Environmental Science (CSES-Bumpers College of Agriculture, Food, and Life Sciences), Ph.D. in Environmental Dynamics (Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences), and the MS in Biological Engineering (College of Engineering).
The Belize Program (Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences) offers students a multi-disciplinary immersive experience conducting research and service-learning projects in a study abroad atmosphere for 3-4 weeks during the summer. The University of Arkansas is also offering a faculty-led Agricultural and engineered study abroad program around Eurozone. The program features lectures on food production, biofuels, renewable bioresources, sustainability, and more.
