A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

The 2013 SEC Symposium discussed the impact of the southeast in the world’s renewable energy future. Seven Office for Sustainability staff and students attended the conference, one department sent students as representatives, and University of Arkansas professor Dr. D. Keith Roper served as a speaker for the renewable energies technology portion of presentation session. In February of 2017, the UA will be hosting the SEC Facility Leaders for 2 days and will have many campus sustainability focused presentations. The UA Office for Sustainability will have an hour to present our progress to leaders from other SEC campuses.
