A brief description of the program or practice:
Few non-athletic green spaces are irrigated, and turf is selected to resist heat and drought. Certain areas are planted with buffalo grass which is not supposed to mowed but once a year. Xeriscaping is also used around a retention pond on campus and wild grasses and plants are planted by the research and technology center.
