Chartwells operationalizes the Sustainability Council's zero waste goals by using only washable or compostable food service items in self service dining halls, by managing waste vegetable oil for use in a biodiesel microrefinery, by managing food waste for a compost program, limiting bottled water by making RO-pourified water available in food courts, and other actions.
