A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Eco-Logical Communities, a project of the Walton College of Business, is an experiment in community engagement to promote sustainability. A web-based dashboard shows energy and water consumption and waste generation by household. The goal for the program is to enroll as many households as possible, to monitor their home energy use, water consumption and waste generation, and to reduce resource use by generating awareness and bringing competition to residential resource use patterns.
