The labor rights code of conduct for licensees:
In addition to being members of the FLA and WRC, for which we require all our licensed vendors to affiliate with the FLA, the University has implemented a blank supplier program on all items ordered through promotional product licensees. These are licensees who traditionally source promotional products for University departments and colleges to promote themselves. The blank supplier program requires that all participating licensees disclose, at a minimum, category A manufactures of the blank product that they are sourcing. Disclosures include the location of the factory, number of employees, factory contact information, and ownership information in some cases.
Each licensee is required to submit what products they source from each. Our licensing agent keeps a detailed database for us which allows us 24/7 access to factory and country information. This is valuable information when responding to or assisting WRC reports. In addition, we collaborate with our licensing agent to hold all our licensees accountable to our labor policy. Attached is the questionnaire CLC administers to better understand each of our licensees' commitment to CSR and responsible sourcing.
