A brief description of the program:
The Carpool Parking Permit program at UA encourages individuals to form carpool groups. Incentives for creating a carpool group are specific carpool parking spots in the garages and lots near the center of campus, and that the cost for the permit can be split between the members of the carpool group. The latter point is of particular importance because parking permits can cost over $560 in some cases.
