The University of Alberta, through its contract with Aramark, became a certified Marine Stewardship Council Chain of Custody location in 2016, ensuring full traceability of products back to their original, sustainably-caught source. Specifically, Dining Services serves MSC certified cod, haddock, pollock and sole.
