A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
The University of Alberta is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It has four campuses in the City of Edmonton (North Campus, South Campus, Campus Saint-Jean, and Enterprise Square) and one campus in the City of Camrose (Augustana Campus). North Campus is our main campus with 85% of our floor space and over 97% of our campus population.

Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
Present? Included?
Agricultural school Yes Yes
Medical school Yes Yes
Other professional school with labs and clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary) Yes Yes
Satellite campus Yes Yes
Farm larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares Yes Yes
Agricultural experiment station larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares Yes Yes
Hospital No No

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
The University of Alberta Hospital is a provincial government facility managed by Alberta Health Services and has been excluded from our institutional boundary. The Enterprise Square building is excluded from the campus area, floor area, and grounds area of this submission because it doesn't fall within the operational control of the university and the space was not deemed material to the submission (Enterprise Square is less than 2% of building space and less than 0.01% of the university population).
