A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):

Faculty and Staff Orientation

Human Resources has entrenched sustainability throughout their unit. For example, sustainability is formally embedded into the university's orientation for new faculty and staff. This event is offered three times per year with an average attendance of 120 new employees. The orientation features a marketplace where the Office of Sustainability operates a booth and shares information about programs, engagement opportunities and background on services and responsibilities. The faculty and staff orientation website, implemented in 2012, is available to all staff and faculty. On that website, staff are encouraged to "go green" and are directed to the Office of Sustainability to learn more and to get involved.
