A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory (including the types of faculty and staff included as researchers):
The responsible party and two research associates conducted a university-wide review of all listed research faculty. This inventory consisted of a methodical review of current faculty listings of all academic departments and divisions. These listings were deemed to have the most current information relating to faculty and their current areas of research and publication list. The review consisted of compiling all non-clinical faculty that were actively engaged in research. Emeritus (unless currently engaged in research), post doctoral fellows, sessional and faculty lecturers were not included in this inventory. Each department was then informed of the list of their research faculty deemed to be involved in sustainability research with the opportunity to make corrections to the list.
